ODESSA - Elaine Kimbrough, "Grandmother K," 82, of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at Odessa Regional Medical Center. She was born March 7, 1927, in Rogersville, Ala., to Donald Edward and Annie Lou (Wallace) Jarrett. She was a homemaker and a member of Sherwood Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Vernon Arney Toone; second husband, E.R. Kimbrough; and granddaughter, Lori Anne. She is survived by her four daughters, Beverly Susan "Susie" and husband Harry, children, Da-nielle, Donny, Carrie Anne and Dusty; Glenda Dickens and husband Wayne, children Scotty, Timmy and Mandy; Linda Bentley and husband Larry, children Julie and Amy; Kimberly Elaine Kimbrough Toone and daughter Shayla, all of Odessa; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and her four-legged little girl, Baylee Elaine, who never left her side. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at Sherwood Church of Christ with Mark Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
