Bio

Rochester Post May 5, 1893 Geo. B. Wright, another of Rochester's oldest residents died last night at 10:50 at his home on North Prospect street, of Uraemic Coma. Deceased was born June 30th, 1829, at Rodman, Jefferson county, N.Y. and came to Minnesota in 1863, settling in the town of Cascade. On April 18, 1855, he was united in marriage with Amelia F. Graves, of Henderson, N. Y., and by this union had one daughter, now Mrs. F. J. Squieurs, residing at Cazenovia, N. Y. Shortly after his removal to Minnesota, however, he was called upon to mourn the death of his first wife. He was married a second time. May 23rd, 1867, to Matilda E. Losinger, of Cascade, who, with two children, a daughter, Alice, and a son, George, survive him. He resided at different times at Zumbrota and Oronoco, but his main place of residence has been in this city. He was for a number of years employed in the iron works of W. E. Cannedy. C. H. Losinger and Mrs. Folsom Dow. relatives of the deceased, were expected to arrive this noon from Wahpeton, N. D. The funeral services will be held here Wednesday at two p. m., conducted by Rev. J. F. Taintor. The remains will be interred at Douglass, and a brief burial service will be held at that place.
