Loma, Sept. 24 – Mrs. Joseph Capoun died in the hospital at Prague Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 11:30 a.m., following a recent operation for appendicitis. Funeral services will be held in St. Luke's Catholic church at Loma Thursday morning, Sept. 25, at 10 o'clock. Mrs. Capoun was aged 21 years, six months and two days. She was born in Butler county March 9, 1903. Her maiden name was Rose Kriz. She was daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kriz. She was married to Joseph Capoun at Loma March 3, 1924. She is survived by her husband, her parents, two sisters and one brother. She was of happy, cheerful disposition, and was beloved by all who knew her. '''''''''''''''' The Brainard Clipper (Brainard, Nebr.), October 2, 1924, p. 1, col. 4 Mrs. Joseph Capoun Mrs. Joseph Capoun of near Loma, died at the Prague hospital Tuesday morning from the effects of ruptured appendix for which she had undergone a surgical operation four weeks previous. She was born March 9, 1903, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kriz and under their loving parental care grew to be a graceful young lady and possessed of a kind and cheerful disposition which won many friends for her. On March 3, 1924 she was united in marriage to Joseph Capoun and they resided on a farm near Loma. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her untimely departure, her parents, two sisters, a brother and a host of sincere friends. Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock last Thursday morning in St. Lukes Catholic church at Loma, and burial was in the Loma cemetery. ___ CARD OF THANKS With deep appreciation we hereby extend our most sincere thanks and all of our relatives and friends for their expression of sympathy in our bereavement.
