Bio
Son of Garret & Frances (Skiles) Evers. In 1965, he married Carole Henning. He later married Cynthia Eynon. Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Lorenzen and her husband, Dave, of Ceresco, Jane Langan of Lincoln and Jill Evers of Omaha; stepson, Chris Eynon of Omaha; grandchildren, Garret and Sawyer Lorenzen, Sabrina Eynon and Carlie, Allison and Grace Langan; sisters, Wanda Brugh and her husband, Duane, of Alma and Diana Hallam and her husband, Alan, of Lincoln; and brother, Loyd Evers and his wife, Teresa, of Hildreth. He grew up in the Hildreth area and graduated from Hildreth High School and then from Kearney State College. He taught school in Hebron, Campbell and Seward. He earned his master's degree from the University of Portland, Ore. He and Cynthia lived near Hildreth, and he farmed in the Hildreth area. He farmed until 2000. He then taught at the University of Nebraska at Kearney's Safety Center. He enjoyed being with his family, farming, traveling and having coffee with his friends. He always enjoyed talking with anyone he came in contact with. He was preceded in death by his parents.
