Bio

Mary was the daughter of Thomas Henry and Permelia Jane Sherman Odom. Her parents are buried in Mount Comfort Cemetery in Maydelle in Cherokee County. She is buried beside her husband, John T. Hassell, who she married 23 December 1875 in Cherokee County. She died at her home in Palestine.
