Ronald "Ronny" Webb Hollabaugh, age 67, of Waxahachie passed away Monday, April 9, 2007 at Pleasant Manor Health & Rehab. He was born August 22, 1939 near Midlothian to Marshall Jasper and Mary Lou (Davis) Hollabaugh. He spent 4 years in the United States Navy serving on the aircraft carrier "USS Kearsarge" and 16 years in the United States Army. He was a Viet Nam Veteran and also served in Japan, Germany and Korea. He retired from the United States Army in 1984. Ronald graduated from the University of New York in 1985 and on February 24, 1987 he married Mildred Ann Riley in Waxahachie. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Mildred Hollabaugh of Waxahachie; son, Ronny Hollabaugh and wife Fran of Belfair, WA and daughter, Bonny Shock of Longbranch, WA; three grandchildren, Nichole, Mark and Kyle; one brother, Paul Dexter Hollabaugh of Waxahachie; one niece, Kellie Roberts; four nephews, Kenneth Ray Nash, Joel Keith Nash, David Wayne Padgett and Jay Padgett; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Martha and Joe Thomas and the dog of his life, Figi Island. He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joe N. Riley and Faye Riley Shults. Interment was with full military honors at the Mansfield Cemetery.
