Florida Times Union, Nov 17 2009 HORACE MILFORD BROCK Horace Milford Brock, 75, passed away at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida Monday, November 16, 2009. He was born in New Brockton, AL. Brock retired after 27 years with the United States Air Force, then retired again with the United States Department of Defense. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge of New Brockton, AL. He was predeceased by his parents Howard Milford Brock and Virginia Nell Crabtree Brock Bookout, and sister Roslyn Brock Stern, of Opelika, Al. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Mary Bible Brock, two daughters, Sandie Cross (Jack Jr.) and Dee Boatright (Harold); four grandchildren, Chris Cheney (Shannon Wheeler), Wendy Aldridge (Jeff), Travis Register (Traci), and Kyle Register; great grandchildren Kaila Cheney, Kassidy Register, Bailey Aldridge, Tyler Aldridge, Lee Register, and Tori Register; brother-in-law Henry Stern of Opelika, Al, niece Ginger Stern and nephew J. Stern. Arrangements were made with Frashier's Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Florida.
