Husband of Sarah M. Beatty Pleas A Beatty - per Don Haynes ------------------------------------------------------- Pleasant Beaty (46249546) P.A. Beaty dies suddenly at his home near here Pioneer citizen to be buried at Spring Creek cemetery today P.A. Beaty, age 74, died suddenly at his home five miles southeast of Stamford about 11:00 Wednesday morning. Mr. Beaty was said to have been in the yard feeding chickens at the time he was stricken and died before members of the family could get him into the house. Mr. Beaty was one of the pioneer citizens of this section, having lived in the community where he died for about 40 years. His friends say he was a man of the highest character and was a good citizen. The body will be interred at Spring Creek cemetery Thursday afternoon. The exact hour had not been learned when the American went to press. Surviving: his wife; sons and daughters - Stokes Beaty, Pleas Beaty, Albert Beaty, Harrison Beaty; Mrs. Jim Culwell, Mrs. Hugh Culwell, Mrs. Jim Crosthwaite, and Mrs. Rufus Garth.
