Barta, Lillie Mae (Barton) Mrs. Robert Barta, 44, Buried Here This Morning Funeral services for Mrs.Lillie Barton Barta, 44, wife of Robert Barta, were held from Hubbard Funeral Home this (Thursday) morning Rev. C. Emigholz officiating. She was buried in the City Cemetery. Mrs. Barta died Tuesday morning, January 27, in Columbus Hospital, after an illness of about 18 months. Born here September 21, 1902, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Ed Barton. She married Mr. Barta here October 12, 1921, and they settled near Weimar, where they farmed. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Weimar. Surviving in addition to her parents and husband are five brothers, Leon, Alvin and Edward Barton of Weimar, Owen Barton of Velasco, and Raymond Barton of Freeport; and six sisters, Mrs. Elo Huebel and Mrs. Emil Ulrich of Smithville, Mrs. Edward Hanselka of Rosenberg Mrs. Frank Peter of El Campo, Mrs. Charlie Wornat of Glidden and Mrs. Hugo Brandt of La Grange.
