Bio

Daughter of Michael Prososki and Valeria Zelasny. She married Francis "Frank" Chlopek on Feb. 17, 1947, in Krakow at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She lived in Genoa, Tarnov and Humphrey community and since February 2008 in Norfolk. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Tarnov Grain in Tarnov. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Francis Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post 80 of Humphrey, St. Francis Quilters Group and St. Francis Catholic Church. She greatly enjoyed playing cards. She is survived by daughters, Joan Sacco and Elaine Cerny, both of Phoenix; sons, Duane (Pamela) Chlopek of Norfolk and Daniel Chlopek of Omaha; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Emily Bialas of Fullerton; and brother, Al (Bobbie) Prososki of Omaha. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Francis "Frank"; son-in-law Mike Cerny; and brothers, Eddie, Emil and Richard.
