Funeral Services for Alcoe Leland Keller, 86 of Buffalo, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Adams Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tom Sauer officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.to 10 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Gillette Mount Pisgah Cemetery with graveside services immediatley to follow the funeral. He died Sunday April 20, 1997 at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital of Natural causes. He was born Sept. 24, 1910, in Decatur County, IA to Frank A and Lela(Thompson) Keller. When he was 7 years old, he moved with his family to Gillette, where he attended elementary and high school. After high school, he ranched with his mother, Lela Butler for many years in the Gillette area. In 1972, he sold his ranch in Gillette and moved to Buffalo, where he worked as a carpenter for several years. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge of Buffalo. He loved the outdoors and spending time in the mountains. His maternal grandparents were: John "Brough" Thompson Laura "Anise" (Fierce) Thompson His stepfather was: Lewis Grant "L G" Butler the first Sheriff of Campbell County, WY
