Bio

Cynthia Jo Zapletal, age 56 of Ennis, passed away on December 22, 2009 in Dallas. She was born in Ennis, Texas, on August 28, 1953 to Jerry J. and Mary (Patek) Zapletal. Cynthia was a lifetime member of St. John Catholic Church and served as an Eucharistic Minister. She was employed at Southland Manufacturing in Terrell for twenty years. She is truly loved and will be greatly missed by her family. She is survived by her sister, Frances Trojacek; brother, Martin Zapletal and his wife Gladys all of Ennis; four nieces, Monica Pullin and her husband Mike of Ennis, JoAnn Turner and her husband Kyle of Woodway, Texas, Joyce Reeve and her husband Chip of Ennis, and Amy Zapletal and fiancé, Jay Palmer of Houston; three nephews, John Trojacek and his wife Patti of Ennis, Adam Zapletal of Ennis, and David Lewis of Dallas; numerous great nieces and great nephews. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; niece, Mary Frances Lewis and brother-in-law, Edwin Trojacek. Burial Monday December 28, 2009, 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Cemetery
