Bio

Donie Young served in the US Army in WW I. He served and fought as a Private in Company F, 58th Infantry Regiment. His wife Nora Qualls, was pregnant with their first child when he was inducted into the Army on October 2, 1917, and she was born while he was serving. Donie was heavily gassed while serving in France, and it affected him until he died. Uncle Donie, we will always honor you for your service to our country,
