Graveside services and interment for Beatrice L. Eckert, 96, Athens formerly of Houston have been scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday February 19th, 2005 at Brookside Memorial Park Gazebo in Houston with Rev. Jack Armstrong officiating, under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens. Mrs. Eckeret passed away February 17, 2005 in Athens. She was born November 6, 1908 in Palmer, Texas to the late Cicero Thomas and Maude Ann Hurley Hunter. She had been a resident of Athens for the past three years, however she had lived most of her life in Houston. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis F. Eckert, Sr. on April 19, 1983, and by a son, Louis F. Eckert, Jr. Survivos include her sons and daughters in law, Dr. Robert M. and Nancy Eckert, Athens, Lawrence A. an Letia Eckert, Houston, Betty Eckert, Georgetown, brother, C. T. Hunter, San Diego, California, 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
