John Rufus Hunter Special to The Record News. MEMPHIS, Texas, Sept. 9. - John Rufus Hunter, 75, died from paralysis Friday, Sept 7, at the home of his son, Albert A. Hunter, five miles west of Memphis. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clcock at the First Methodist church at Lakeview, the Rev. Henry Wheeler officiating. Interment was in the Lakeview cemetery. He is survived by his wife and son.
