William Marvin Grimm, 81, died April 27, 1990 in a Salt Lake Hospital. Born January 11, 1909 in Grand River, Iowa, son of Thomas J. and Annie B. Kirkpatrick Grimm. Married Ruby Venice Hall on January 1, 1933 in Leon, Iowa. Served U.S. Navy, WW II, in the Pacific. He was a farmer in Iowa and was employed as a farm machine mechanic at several companies, maintenance mechanic at Sperry-Univac. Semi-retired from Sperry and worked for Com-N-C Equipment for several years after retirement. Member Central Christian Church since 1961. Survived by wife; two sons and daughter, Lyle, Paul, Idaho; Chester, West Valley City; Anita Wahlberg, Holladay; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Etola Thielmann. Preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 30, 1990 at 1:00 p.m. in Central Christian Church, 370 South 300 East. Friends may call on Sunday form 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South, and at the Church one half hour prior to the services on Monday. Interment: Lake Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Published in the Deseret News on April 28, 1990.
