The Spokesman-Review, Spokane, WA, 4 Feb. 2009 WOSLAGER, James Edward (Age 87) Of Spokane Valley, WA passed away February 1, 2009, he was born August 8, 1921 in Ewing, Nebraska to John and Kathryn (Goeble) Woslager. He is survived by his wife Anita at the family home, daughters Kathleen Miller of Spokane, WA, Gloria and Jeff Rosenthal of Colville, WA, Linda and Jerry Pitman of Spokane, WA; son James Michael Woslager of Spokane, WA; stepdaughter Wendy and Randall Williams of Spokane Valley, WA; stepson Jimmy and Sue Spence of Strasburg, CO; step daughter-in-law Kathy Spence of Billings, MT; numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his daughter Patty Walser, stepson Michael Spence, five brothers and sisters. He served with the U.S. Army during WWII and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and the VFW Post 1435. He worked for and retired from General Machinery in 1986. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4521 N Arden Rd, Otis Orchards, WA with Father Michael Kwiatkowski, Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of HAZEN AND JAEGER VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 1306 N PINES RD., SPOKANE VALLEY, WA 99206. www.mem.com
