Bio

Daughter of Frank & Mary (Stanek) Jecha. She grew up in Brainard. She married Ernest M. Odvody on Jan. 9, 1940, in Wahoo; he died Jan. 16, 1996. The couple farmed south of Morse Bluff until retiring and moving to Wahoo in 1985. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wahoo and of Special Friends Cancer Survivors. Survivors include: a son, Milton and wife, Marilyn Odvody of Morse Bluff; a daughter, Mildred and husband, Marvin Fujan of Wahoo; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Jecha of Schuyler; three grandchildren, Carolyn & husband, Allan Beethe, Cheryl & husband, Rob Brennan and Marie & husband Jim Schmitt and eight great-grandchildren, Andrew, Carrie & Ashley Beethe, Sophia & Elizabeth Brennan and Shelby, Naomi & Dan Schmitt. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Jecha and a sister, Agnes Odvody.
