Bonham, Texas - Funeral services for Jimmy Lee Arie, 53, of Bonham, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on November 20, 2003 at the First Baptist Church in Bonham. Brother Morgan Malone and Brother Bill Beazley will officiate and interment will be in Willow Wild Cemetery. Cooper-Sorrels Funeral Home in Bonham is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Arie died November 16, 2003 at Northeast Medical Center in Bonham. Jimmy Lee Arie was born in Bonham on July 2, 1950 to parents Joe Lee Arie and Verna Mae Mahaffey Arie. He married Linda Kay Spoon Arie on August 15, 1969 in Bonham. Mr. Arie was employed by General Cable as a lab technician and he was a member and served as a Deacon at First Baptist Church in Bonham. Donations may be made to First Baptist Church in Bonham. Family visitation is scheduled for 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2003. Jimmy Lee Arie is survived by his wife, Linda Arie of Bonham; mother, Verna Fisher of Bonham; son, Jeffrey Arie and his wife, Bethany Arie of Bonham; daughter, Lori Watkins and her husband Billy Watkins of Royse City, Texas; grandchildren, Trey Watkins and Kaylee Watkins of Royse City; plus numerous other relatives and friends.
