Borger News Herald - June 13 and 14, 1962 Mrs. Jewel Shaw, 59, who resided at 6 Stark St. in Phillips, died at 2 a.m. today in Baylor Hospital after an extended illness. She had been a resident here for 22 years, and was a member of the First Christian Church. Funeral services for Mrs. Shaw will be held this afternoon at 3 p.m. in the First Christian Church with Rev. Clyde Nichols officiating. Interment will be at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Tex Rucker, Red Dillard, Red Hertel, F. E. Routson, Dick French, and Joe Bunn. Surviving are her husband of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Bill Kennedy, Dallas; two sons, H. W. Shaw, Midland and Clyde B.
