Bio
VIRGINIA KNOX, 83, passed peacefully into Heaven on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at her home. Virginia was a native Houstonian, a lifetime member of Baptist Temple and was married to her husband and soul mate, Elmer Knox, until his death in 1994. Virginia was also preceded in death by her son, Glenn Knox. She leaves to mourn her passing, her children, Aubrey & Jan Knox, Nancy & Mike Murdock, Rick & Linda Knox and Sandy Summers Knox, 17 grandchildren, Shannon Knox, Andrea & Doug Berry, Kevin & Allison Knox, Julie & Johnny Johnson, Christy & Josh Williams, Mike Murdock, Jr., Jamie & Jason Merillat, Jeramy & Liz Summers, Lonnie Knox, Megan Knox & Sarah Knox and 10 great-grandchildren, Ashley & Will Johnson, Karson & Kelsey Knox, John & Brooke Berry, Josh & Jordan Merillat, Jackson Summers & Barrett Williams. Virginia's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Friday (12/11/09) 6-8 p.m. with services conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home.
