Bio

Came to America in 1888 at the age of 17 with his sister Mary (15). They came by sailboard to Galveston, TX and stayed with relatives in Anderson, TX. Two years later the rest of the family migrated to America, siblings: John, Joseph, Eleanor, Rosalie and Kathryn along with parents. Parents bought land in Carlos Community where a brother, Barney, was born. Frank married Julia Smith of Plantersville, 9/22/1895 and built a log cabin in Carlos, later building a modern house in 1917. Youngest son Stanley went into the service in 1942 serving in England, France, Belgium and Germany. Children: Mary K.
