Bio
Earl Harmon, age 51, well known resident of Olney, passed away on Saturday evening at Jackson Hospital where he had been a patient for the past four weeks. Mr. Harmon a life-long resident of the county and was employed for many years at the International Shoe Company. He had been in ill health for many months. He is survived by the following children; Wilbur,Robert, Frances, Eldin, Paul, Herschel, and Frank Harmon,of Olney He also leaves three brothers and a sister, Pearl, Lee and Harve Harmon and Mrs. Ida Wilson, all of Olney. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Kieth Simpson in charge. Interment was in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery in Claremont township.
