Bio

Ruby E. Henderson, 86, of Springdale died Thursday, December 03, 2009 at Circle of Life Hospice Springdale. She was born February 9, 1923 at Glen Allen, Alabama to William E. and Mary Smith Whitehead. She was the Valedictorian of her 1941 graduating class at Fitzhugh High School. She was a homemaker of many talents. Her love of flowers was only surpassed by her love for her family. She also loved to go fishing. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Herman Henderson of the home; one son Rickey Henderson and wife Ann of Peel, Arkansas; one daughter Beverly Henderson Russell of Wingate, North Carolina; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale. Burial will be in the Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from noon until the start of the service.
