Bio
She was born to George and Essie Shoemake Davis 87 years ago. On Feb. 15, 1944, she married Robert Lee Jones in Marietta, Okla. She was a member of Harvey Street Baptist Church, a homemaker and loved to piece quilts and crochet. She worked at Linda Jo's Shoe Factory for several years and at Wal-Mart in Gainesville. She enjoyed playing dominoes with her friends. Mrs. Jones died at the Renaissance Care Center in Gainesville. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters Linda Price and June Price, brothers R.E. Davis and Cordis Davis, sisters Billie Dobbs and Juanita Murphy, granddaughter Sandra Westbrook and great-grandchildren Aaron Westbrook and June Price.
