Kunetka, Rosie (Krutilek) ADDITIONAL FACTS REGARDING LIFE OF MRS. ROSIE KUNETKA Mrs. Rosie Kunetka, former resident of this immediate section, who died at the family home one mile north of Schulenburg last week and was buried in the Weimar Masonic Cemetery, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Krutilek. She was born in Stranik, Czechoslovakia, in June, 1866. With her parents she came to this country in 1873. The family first settled in the Fayetteville section. From there they moved to Dubina, and later to Content, where on Jan. 31, 1892, she was united in marriage to Mr. Jos. Kunetka. The young couple then settled a short distance west of Weimar, where they lived for several years. In 1898 they again moved to the Dubina section, where the husband died Sept. 10, 1920. From that time on she made her home with her only son, Ed Kunetka. In 1925 she and her son moved near Schulenburg, where they lived up to the time of her death, April 2, 1930, at the age of 64 years. She is survived by an only son, Mr. Eddie Kunetka and two brothers and two sisters, namely Mr. Jos. W. Krutilek of El Campo, Mr. Andrew Krutilek of Ennis, Miss Annie Krutilek of El Campo and Mrs. A. A. Farek of Hockley, Texas. Thus has passed away another good and deserving wife and mother to her eternal reward. R. Weimar Mercury, April 11, 1930, page 8
