John W. Waddell's first wife was Susan C.(Mira) Cowles, born in Riverton, Fremont County, Iowa 1860. Children are Cora, Ellsworth, Earl H., Herman, and Susan. All other children by Sarah I. Plummer Married 1876 Fremont County, Iowa . She was belived to died after her last daughter Susan 1884. 1880 census living in Medicine Creek, Furnas, Nebraska. After Susan died he moved back to Iowa to live with his parents.
