Upton Paper: "Allen B. Comstock Dies "Allen B. Comstock died Tuesday, March 17, in Newcastle, where he had been taken for medical care, after an illness of a few months. The funeral took place Thursday, the 19th . "He was born in Iowa on Nov. 2, 1891, being 34 years old last November. "Mr. Comstock came to Weston county about four years ago from Broadwater, Nebr., and had worked around Upton during that time. Men for whom he worked say he was a dependable man on a ranch and those who knew him have a good word for him. "He leaves to mourn his departure, two small children, a boy and a girl, besides his father, A. B. Comstock, of Crook, Colo., a brother, Frank, residing at Fellows, Calif., another brother, J.G. and a sister, Mrs. J. M. Hanway, of Broadwater, Nebr., and Mrs. Cecil Fowler, of Stratford, Calif., another sister. "The brother and sister from Nebraska attended the funeral and took little Arthur home with them."
