Bio
Services for Mrs. Caroline K. Eilers, 90, were held at the Emanuel Lutheran Church at Pottsville. Mrs. Eilers died at the home of her son in Pottsville. Born in Germany, she moved to Texas with a sister in 1884 settling in Brenham. She moved to Clifton where she married Herman Eilers. They moved to the Pottsville Community in 1898. Her husband preceded her in death. Surviving are three sons - Adolph Eilers, Walter Eilers, William Eilers; four daughters - Mrs. Gus Pietzsch, Mrs. Hilda Rapp, Mrs. Fred Zimmerman, Mrs. Alex Seims; 39 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
