Bio

Mr. Marvin Moucka, 61, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004, at his home in Plano. He was born June 23, 1943 in Ennis, the son of Henry and Hattie Kudrna Moucka. He was reared in Ennis where he was a 1961 graduate of St John High School. He was employed by the Southern-Pacific Railroad for 2 years before attending Navarro College. He then entered the Naval Reserves while attending Dallas University. He was employed as a comptroller/accountant for J.L. Williams Properties in Dallas for over 25 years. He loved to fish, hunt and the outdoors. He loved his children and grandchildren. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the WFLA. He is survived by a son and his wife, Chris and Kim Moucka of Plano; 2 daughters and their husbands, Carrie and Joey Valek of McKinney, Tamara and Joey Allen of Frisco; 2 sisters, Claudia Hill and Regina Adams both of Ennis; and 6 grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Keever Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St John Catholic Church with Rev. Fred Caldwell as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
