Bi-County Obituaries for June 1, 1999 - In Abstract - Josephine Huckabee Josephine Huckabee, 82, of Cassville, died yesterday, May 31, at Cox Monett Hospital. Mrs. Huckabee was born July 13, 1916, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, the daughter of Bates L. and Mary Lou Page Loftis. She moved in 1965 from Texas to Missouri, ranched on Flat Creek, moved to Cassville in 1975, and moved to Monett in 1998. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cassville. She married Horace E. Huckabee on December 31, 1936, in Clovis, New Mexico, and he preceded her in death in May of 1979. She was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Loftis; and two sisters, Opal Farris and Bessie Latham. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, June 2, at Washburn Prairie Cemetery with Rev. John Duncan officiating under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville.
