Mr. Wachsmann Claimed by Death Another pioneer resident of this section, Frank J. Wachsmann, age 64, passed away at his home near Leroy at 5:45 a.m. last Thursday, October 26th. Mr. Wachsmann had been in ill health for several months, but his condition had been considered serious for only a few days before his death. Born in Germany, deceased came to the United States 53 years ago. He had been a resident of this section for 50 years and had many friends in West. Funeral services were held at St. Martin's Church, Tours, at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 28th, Rev. Geo. T. Koen officiating. Burial was in St. Martin's cemetery. Surviving are the widow; 4 sons, W. W. Wachsmann of Waco, Rt. 5, Anton of Houston, Frank and Joe of this community; 6 daughters, Mrs. J. A. Weinberger, Leroy, Mrs. Louis Pauks, Austin, Mrs. C. E. Truitt, Belmead, Miss Katherine Wachsmann and Sister Phelomena of Houston, Miss Agnes Wachsmann of Leroy; two brothers, Leopold Wachsmann of Axtell and W. Wachsmann of Travis; 3 sisters, Annie Stratten, Leroy, Mrs. Geo. Snider, Penelope, Mrs. Louis Olfhosky, Elm Mott; 7 grandchildren.
