Frank B. Rejcek, age 86 of West, passed away early Tuesday morning, February 15, 2000 at his residence. A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:15 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with the Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Military Graveside Rites will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West, provided by the V.F.W. Post #4819. Mr. Rejcek was born October 30, 1913 near West, the son of Joe and Mary Rejcek. He served his country in the United States Air Corp during World War II in France. He married Mary Rosie Tobola on April 9, 1941 in West. She preceded him in death on July 13, 1999, after being happily married for 58 years. He was a truck driver for several Waco area companies for many years until he retired in 1994. They lived in Waco for fifty years until moving back to West in April of 1999. He was a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post #4819, American Legion 478 and the Disabled American Veterans. He was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. He is survived by three sisters, Mary Fredrick of Garland and Elizabeth Vrana and Lillian Fuller, both of Ennis and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Roy Fredrick, Frankie Vrana, Billy W. Fuller, Toby Tobola, Martin Rejcek and Buddy Hrabal. Aderhold Funeral Home in West is in charge of arrangements.
