James Moore, Jr., age 66, of 106 Lakeview in Waco passed away at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 14 at Providence Hospital. Mr. Moore was born July 9, 1917 in Killeen. He was a retired printer, having worked at Hall Printing and other area printing companies. He was a member of RVOS #109, VFW #4819 in West, and American Legion #478 of West. He was also a member of Elm Mott Elk Lodge #166 and SPJST Lodge #66. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army. He married Frances Tobola November 12, 1946 in West. He is survived by his wife, Frances; two sons, Gary L. Moore and Dennis R. Moore, both of Rt. 1, Axtell; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. B.J. Zientek. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead, celebrant Rev. Edward Jordon. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Pallbearers were Henry J. Hromadka, Donald Oswald, Ernest Tobola, Jr., Harry Lee Tobola, Joe Tobola, Jr. and Bernard Chudej. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 92, No. 29, Edition 1, July 21, 1983, page 7
