Bio

Mary Urban, Age 39, Dies Miss Mary Ann Urban, 39, of Austin and formerly of Abbott, died Monday night Sept. 6th, near Smithville from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident near there. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday at Kotch Funeral home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Miss Urban was born in Abbott and lived in Austin for several years. She was a bank employee and was a Catholic. Survivors include her father, Frank Urban of West; her mother, Mrs. Sedonia Pullen of Whitney; her brother, Robert Urban of North Dakota; and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Schneider of League City. Pallbearers were Tom Bermingham, Jerry Kramolis, Joe Urban, Jim Urban, Willie Urban, and Bill Jinkins.
