Bio
Mrs. Annie Soukup of Waco passed away in Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center Dec. 30. Rosary was recited Sunday, Jan. 1, 1984 at Kotch Funeral Home Hillcrest Chapel, Waco. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, Jan. 2 at 2 p.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead, the Rev. George Tzanakas as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mrs. Soukup was born Aug. 17, 1900 in Bryan and had lived in Bellmead since 1946. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead. She also was a member of SPJST No. 66 and a member of Catholic Daughters of America, Bellmead Court. Mrs. Soukup married Charlie Soukup, who passed away in February of 1979. Survivors include one son, Benny Soukup of Waco; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Rudie) Nowlin and Gracie Soukup both of Waco; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Alfons Soukup, Frank Kostecka, Johnnie Kostecka, Robert Kostecka, Edward Grimm and Raymond Gerik.
