A. F. (Ollie) Kubacak, 44, of 207 West Elm Street in West died of a heart attack Tuesday night. He was visiting relatives when he suffered the attack and was dead when he arrived at a Waco hospital. Mr. Kubacak was a native of Jarrell. He had lived in West for about 42 years. He married Miss Lucille Prikryl in 1946. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Air Force in the European theater of war. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post of West and the KJT organization. Mr. Kubacak also was a member of the Church of the Assumption in West. He was an usher for the church. He was employed by the Veterans Administration Hospital in Waco for about 20 years. At the time of his death, he was purchasing agent at the hospital. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, Rev. George Doskocil officiated. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today at the Church of the Assumption in West, Rev. Jerry Smith officiating, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Kubacak of West; a son, Frank Kubacak of West; three brothers, Raymond Kubacak, George Kubacak, Charles Kubacak, all of West; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Devers, Mrs. Lucille Uptmore, and Mrs. Barbara Rejcek, all of West.
