WACO - Walter R. Kramolis, age 67,of Waco died May 14, 1986 at his residence in Waco. Services were at 10 a.m. May 17 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco with the Rev. Mark Deering officiating. Rosary was at 7 p.m. on May 16 at Wilkirson-Hatch Chapel with the Rev. Angelo Bertini officiating. Interment was at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mr. Kramolis was born July 21, 1918 in West. He was a member of the 143rd Infantry Association of the 36th Division and served as a medical corpsman in the 143rd Infantry of the 36th Division during WWII being with the invasion of Salerno, Italy and Southern France. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco. He worked for the Veterans Administration Regional Office in Waco from 1945-1976 and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Beatrice Kramolis Haley of Waco; one brother, Ramon Kramolis of Waco; and several nieces and nephews.
