Helen Hornak Kral, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 25, 2016 in Dallas. A visitation and rosary service was on Sunday, February 28 at Jeter and Son Funeral Home in Dallas. A Mass of Christian Burial was on Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with interment at the St. Marys Cemetery. Helen Hornak Kral was born in Fayetteville on December 23, 1933 to Jan and Julia Hornak. Helen was a volunteer and a long-time member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Dallas. She also was a den mother for the Boy Scouts of America and a member of KJZT #111. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Alfonse Kral; oldest son Michael Kral; brothers: Lad Hornak and Johnnie Hornak and sister Alice Lockhart. She is survived by sons: Gary Kral and wife Valarie, Richard Kral and wife Donna; Steve Kral and wife Angie; daughters: Julie Lema and husband Jerry, Janna Berg and husband Paul, sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
