John A. Holacka Buried Wednesday John A. Holacka, a farmer in the Cottonwood Community for the past 65 years, passed away at his home last Monday night at the age of 75. Funeral services were conducted at Aderhold Chapel at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Father E. J. Polcak officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited on Tuesday evening. Mr. Holacka wa born August 3, 1877, at Dubina near Weimar, Texas. He came to West when 10 years of age and remained on the same farm until his death. He had been suffering from a high blood pressure condition and became seriously ill on Sunday after visiting in Waco. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna Holacka; one some, James Holacka of Waco, two daughters, Mrs. Jerry Sumbera and Mrs. Ed Smajstrla, both of West; two brothers, Emil Holacka of West and Frank Holacka of Penelope; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Pribyla of Mount Calm, Mrs. Ed Snapka of Mount Calm and Mrs. Philomena Malone of Fort Worth.
