Mrs. Johnny (Pauline) Hanzlicek, age 58, of Route 1, Penelope, died Saturday, June 24th at her residence. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Monday in the Catholic Church of Nativity in Penelope. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Catholic Church of Nativity, with Rev. John Molnar as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Kotch Funeral Home in West was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Hanzlicek was born September 17, 1930 in Penelope and lived in the Penelope area all of her life. She was a member of the Catholic Church of Nativity. She graduated from Penelope High School. She married Johnny Hanzlicek on April 18, 1951 in Penelope; he died December 2, 1984. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Frances Kahanek of West; two sons, Johnny Hanzlicek of Carrollton and Harry Hanzlicek of China Spring; two daughters, Paula Hanzlicek and Pam Hanzlicek, both of Penelope; one brother, Robert Kahanek of West, and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were George Hanzlicek, Jr., Robert Kahanek, Wesley Holt, Danny Kadlubar, Danny Cepak, James Johnson, Tommy Johnson and Ronnie Hanzlicek.
