Joseph Halamik Dies Suddenly Last Friday Joseph Halamik, 60-year-old farmer of this section, died suddenly at his home near here at 4 p.m. last Friday, July 31. It is reported that Mr. Halamik was sitting on his porch and fell from his chair, dying before treatment could be given. The deceased had been a resident of this and the Leroy community for the past 30 years. Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church in this city at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 2, with Rev. E. J. Polcak officiating. The interment was in the Catholic Cemetery. Survivors are his wife and five children, three sons and two daughters.
