Requiem Mass Held Tues. For Frank Drozd Frank Drozd, 74, of 201 Spring in West, formerly of Route 2, West, died Sunday afternoon in West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, Rev. Earl Hedberg was celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Drozd was born in Fayette County. He had lived in the West area for the past 40 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. He was a member of the Penelope KJT Society. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hattie Drozd; a daughter, Mrs. Richard M. (Valerie) Keller of Shalimar, Fla.; a brother, Theodore Drozd of Route 2, West; a sister, Miss Lillian Drozd of Van Nuys, Calif.; two stepbrothers, Joe Urbish of West and John Urbish of Waco; a stepsister, Mrs. Mary Firasek of Penelope; two half-brothers, Fred Urbish of Pico Riveria, Calif. and Lyde Urbish of Paris, Calif.; a half-sister, Mrs. Gertrude Svoboda of Van Nuys, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
