Services Held Wednesday For Henry Bruegging Henry Bruegging, 71, of Route 1, West, died Monday night in a West hospital. Requiem Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, Rev. William Benish officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mr. Bruegging was born near Tours and had lived in the Abbott area nine years before moving to West in 1971. He was a retired farmer and rancher. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of West. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Frances Bruegging; two brothers, Clement Bruegging of Corpus Christi and Joe Bruegging of Irving; a sister, Miss Elizabeth Bruegging of Waco and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Pat Bruegging, Mike Bruegging, George Hutyra, Daniel Cepak, Fred Cepak and Joseph Cepak. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 84, No. 28, Edition 1, Thursday, October 24, 1974, page 4.
