Funeral Services Held Monday For Mrs. Blahuta Mrs. Louise Blahuta, 73, of Abbott died at 9 a.m. Saturday in a Hillsboro hospital. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21 in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, West, with Rev. George Doskocil officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20 in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel, West. Mrs. Blahuta was born in Hallettsville and had lived in the West area for the past 53 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and the St. Mary's Altar Society. She married Charlie Blahuta on Nov. 11, 1913, in Marlin. Survivors include her husband; three sons, George Blahuta, Albin Blahuta and Charlie Blahuta, all of West; two brothers, August Picha of Riesel and Henry Picha of Waco; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Morris, and Mrs. Albina Jurecka, both of Mart; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Edward Jurecka, George Morris, both of Waco, Louis Picha and Curtis Fitzpatrick, both of Riesel, Frank Picha of Houston and Louis Makovy of West.
