Within Four Days, Kocureks Loose Son and Daughter Within four days this week death visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Kocurek near Bynum twice. Early Sunday morning, at 4:15 o'clock, their youngest son, Albert Frank, aged 1 year, 11 months, and 22 days died at the Boyd Hospital in Hillsboro of diphtheria. Ann Marie Kocurek, his 4-year-old sister, who was sick for several days, succumbed at the Providence Hospital Wednesday after undergoing an appendectomy operation. Private funeral services for Albert Frank were held at the Chapel of the Aderhold Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, and funeral services for Ann Marie were held at the Aderhold Chapel at 10 o'clock and at the Church of Assumption at 10:30 o'clock Thursday morning. Rev. E.J. Polcak officiated at both funerals. Interment was at the Catholic Cemetery. Surviving besides their parents are their 4 sisters, Christine, Leona, Lillie, and Elenor; and two brothers, Jerry and Edwin.
