Bio

Mr. Victor H. Nekuza, 89, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at the IOOF Nursing Home in Ennis. He was born Sept. 25, 1915 in Ennis, the son of Frank C. and Agnes Strakos Nekuza. He was reared in Ennis where he attended Ennis High School. On Oct. 20, 1941 he was married to Madelyn Robertson. After their marriage they lived in Ennis. In 1971 they moved to Tool. He was employed by Southern Pacific Railroad for 37 years, retiring in 1974 as a car man. Mrs. Nekuza preceded him in death on Jan. 17, 1989. In 1996 he moved to Seagoville. He was a member of the Methodist Church and a past member of the IOOF. He is survived by a son, John A. Nekuza of Grand Prairire; 2 daughters, Margie Blair of Seagoville and Darla Allen of Lancaster; 6 grand-children; 5 great grand-children; and 1 great great grandchild. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Myrtle Cemetery with Rev. Patrick Wilson officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
