Bio

AUSTIN - Ruth Edwards, 95, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home Chapel North Lamar. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet. Mrs. Edwards enjoyed teaching children's Sunday school, and was a very successful proofreader for University of Texas Press. The family extends a very special thanks to Hope and Brandon Knight. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al C. Edwards Sr. Survivors include a son, Al C. Edwards and wife Ulli Edwards; four grandsons, Cliff, Bill, Trey and Will; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
