Bio

Services for Mendel W. Kirkpatrick, 58 of 324 Oak St. Buffalo, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Westside Assembly of God, Davenport. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Buffalo. Visitation is 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Weerts/Hill & Fredericks Funeral Home, Davenport. He died Saturday at Davenport Osteopathic Hospital after an extended illness. He was employed at International Harvester, East Moline, for 31 years, retiring in 1979. He married Betty Johnson in 1942 in Bethel, Mo. Survivors include his wife; twin daughters, Mrs Jerry (Constance) West, Davenport, and Mrs. John (Catherine) Wheeler, Buffalo; sons, Michael, Davenport and Mark, Muscatine, Iowa; seven grandchildren; sisters, Mrs James (Eunice) Parkhurst, Morning Sun, Iowa, and Mrs. Donald (Virginia) LaFollette, Michigan City, Ind.; brothers, Kenneth Fraizer, Park, Calif., and William, Clarksville, Tenn.
