Bio

Services for Annie Pinion, 85, a native of Wise County, were Friday, Dec. 30 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport. Tom Adams, minister of Cates Street Church of Christ in Bridgeport, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Duane Perkinson, pastor of Balsora Baptist Church. Burial was in Willow Point Cemetery. Mrs. Pinion, born Aug 1, 1898, died Dec 26 in an Iowa Park nursing home. She married Luster"Bus" Pinion, Jul 22, 1919 in Blue Ridge and was preceded in death by three sisters, and a brother. Survivors include: sons Roy Pinion of Willow Point and Leon Pinion of Edgerton, Wisc.; daughters Jo Ann Poyner of Iowa Park and Minnie Doughty of Canadian; brother Joe Shook of Wizard Wells and Jessie Shook of Wichita Falls; sisters Callie Meyers of Kamay and Maggie Shook of Jacksboro; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
